Eko-Okna: new factories and jobs

investments

Production will soon begin at two new plants in Wodzisław Śląski and Kędzierzyn-Koźle.

Eko-Okna was founded 25 years ago in Racibórz. In 2008, the company moved to Kornice, where the plant is being incessantly expanded. "Our factory in Kornice covers an area of 50 hectares, of which 32 hectares are roofed halls. At the moment, we have more than 12,000 people working for us, and the number will increase in the coming months,” says Mateusz Kłosek, Owner and President of the Board of Eko-Okna S.A. The opening of the two new production facilities will be a landmark moment in Eko-Okna's history.

Wodzisław Śląski

In 2021, Eko-Okna purchased a plot of land with an area of 17 hectares in Wodzisław Olszyny, and the currently underway construction is nearing completion. ”With the plant opening in Wodzisław Śląski, our production capacity will increase, and we will be able to export our products to more countries and hit new markets. In addition to the production departments, there will also be offices for foreign-speaking personnel,” explains Tomasz Marek, director of the Eko-Okna factory in Wodzisław Śląski. Production is to start there in early 2024.

Kędzierzyn-Koźle

Another production plant, to open next year, has been erected in the Południowe Pole in Kędzierzyn-Koźle. "Employees today value their time, and every minute is important for them. That's why we are building more production facilities so our employees can be closer to their homes and families. Thanks to this, they will be able to spend more time at home," explained Joanna Łyko, the then President of the Director Board of Eko-Okna, currently the Director of the Administration Division, just after signing the notarial deed. The plot measuring 33 hectares was purchased in January 2022, and the facility construction is at an advanced stage.

Families are the important thing

For the company owner, supporting families is important. Next to the production plant in Kornice, there is already a company kindergarten and a nursery, and the erection of an estate of 28 single-family houses is nearing completion. "We support families because private life and business life affect each other. It's best if a person feels fulfilled in both areas,” adds the Board Director, Mr. Kłosek.

A recruitment campaign by the company, which is looking for employees not only for its new production facilities in Wodzisław Śląski and Kędzierzyn-Koźle but also for its constantly developing factory in Kornice near Raciborz, will soon be launched.” The number of new jobs, mainly production and warehouse jobs, can be counted in the thousands. We target our job offer mostly for men,” explains Justyna Herok, Head of Eko-Okna Recruitment Department. Present job offers can be found at praca.ekookna.pl.
