Eko-Okna S.A. with the title of Joinery Market Leader 2023

Eko-Okna, one of the largest manufacturers of joinery in Europe, has received the prestigious award "Joinery Market Leader 2023" in the segment of PVC windows in Poland. This is another such title awarded to the company from Kornice.

"We are in one of the most difficult moments for the Polish joinery industry in over 20 years. After two difficult, post-pandemic seasons, the third and most difficult one has come,” we read on the website of the National Joinery Forum. The organisers emphasise that the opportunity to meet and talk is especially important at a time when new construction and renovations have come to a standstill, and the export of woodwork has fallen by several per cent.

The event participants discussed whether there will be a rebound in the joinery market next year. They also looked at the development of the industry from a much longer perspective, wondering, among other things, how long the industry can compete with low production costs and whether manufacturers can develop new advantages on international markets. These markets are particularly important for Eko-Okna, which sends as much as 80% of its production outside Poland and is the largest window manufacturer in the country and one of the leading joinery manufacturers in Europe. The company, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, offers not only uPVC windows and doors but also steel, aluminium and wooden ones, as well as a wide range of roller shutters, blinds, mosquito nets, garage doors, fences and pergolas.
