Recycling wood and helping schools! This is how Eko-Okna do

celebrations

Nowadays, when care for the environment is growing in importance, companies undertake innovative and sustainable pro-ecological measures. Not only does Eko-Okna engage in an ecological approach to production, but it actively supports education promoting waste wood recycling.

Eko-Okna decided to take the next step in caring for the environment. Instead of disposing of wood waste, the company donates it to the Centre for Extracurricular Activities in Wodzisław Śląski. This innovative initiative helps maintain a sustainable approach to production and supports the creativity and education of the youngest.

"As a part of the program, Eko-Okna donates wood waste generated during the production process to the Centre for Extracurricular Activities in Wodzisław Śląski. These are pieces of wood that would have ended up in a landfill. However, thanks to the cooperation, these seemingly useless leftovers gain a new life and become a source of inspiration for students," explains Agnieszka Mojżysz, project manager in the Eko-Okna marketing department.

During the educational activities, students work with wood, creating diverse projects. One of the most spectacular and symbolic tasks is the production of wooden Christmas trees. "This is not only an excellent practical exercise but also an educational one, as the children learn about the importance of recycling, sustainable development, and care for the environment,” adds Agnieszka Mojżysz.

Eko-Okna is also directly involved in the educational process, providing schools with educational resources on environmental protection, energy efficiency, and recycling. Through cooperation with local schools, the company inspires young people to think ecologically and shapes their awareness from an early age.
