Prime Minister Morawiecki visits Eko-Okna

celebrations

During his visit to Kornice, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki had the opportunity to see what the production looks like in one of the largest European factories.

On Monday, July 12, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki visited Silesia. He participated in several celebrations. His calendar also includes a visit to one of the largest European window manufacturers, the Eko-Okna company. The prime minister could see with his own eyes what production looks like here. During the short walk around the company, he was accompanied by the President and members of the company's Management Board.

The prime minister admired the enormity of the production and was impressed by the company's rapid development.

„Polish windows are our primary export product today. Europeans more and more often "look" through Polish windows” said Prime Minister Morawiecki.

He also mentioned that it was exports, which accounted for over 80% of Eko-Okna's revenues, that helped Poland to „dry foot” through the coronavirus pandemic.

„The dynamics of exports was usually lower than the dynamics of imports. Today that is changing. Among other things, thanks to a company such as Eko-Okna, which in a few years with 20 000 m2 grew tenfold. It is good that the Polish industry is developing and doing so well. Congratulations and thank you” added the Prime Minister.

During the meeting, President Mateusz Kłosek emphasized that the support of local, provincial and government authorities is very important for the company. However, he thanked not only the Prime Minister for the visit and warm words directed towards the company, but most of all he focused on the employees.

„By the way, on behalf of myself and of the Prime Minister, I would like to thank all employees. The Prime Minister has repeatedly pointed out to me today that it is a family business, that many families work here, many young people. I would like the company to continue to grow. As long as everyone gives her as much heart as before, it will certainly happen” said the President of Eko-Okna S.A. Mateusz Kłosek.
