Eko-Okna S.A and the Our Children Foundation from Kornice donated equipment for the diagnosis of hypertension to the hospital in Racibórz. The company undertakes many activities related to disease prevention, not only among its employees.

Eko-Okna donated equipment for diagnosing hypertension to the Dr. J. Rostek District Hospital in Racibórz. "As always, our company supports preventive health care not only for its employees but also for the local community. The problem of hypertension, when it comes to occupational medicine, is very acute and, unfortunately, it is often neglected,” says Małgorzata Siwochowicz, Coordinator for Health Promotion at Eko-Okna. She adds that it’s worth remembering that high blood pressure significantly increases the likelihood of heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, and other serious complications.

As the nurses working in the Occupational Medicine Clinic in Eko-Okna, who monitor hundreds of measurements of vital signs every day, hypertension often begins at a very young age and should not be underestimated.
